Sep , 2003 Pegasus Aviation selects TES for Engine Asset Management

The TES Aviation Group is pleased to announce the signature of a 3-year engine asset management contract with Pegasus Aviation.

Under this contract, TES will provide a range of technical and commercial engine management services for a fleet of 214 engines.

These services include the full management of these engines, and development of a fully costed removal plan using TES’ EFPAC software. In addition, TES will provide maintenance reserve management, delivery and redelivery management and engine shop visit overviews ensuring that the engines not only meet lease terms, but also that their asset value is preserved.

The contract also includes the licensing of the EFPAC (Engine Fleet Planning and Costing) software by Pegasus. This program will not only provide Pegasus with immediate visibility of both the engine state and fully costed removal plan for the TES managed engines, but also provides Pegasus with a tool for the efficient and effective management of their remaining engines, whilst ensuring a commonality of tracking and reporting across their entire fleet.

Ashley Cooper, Managing Director of the TES Aviation Group said, “We are extremely pleased to have Pegasus Aviation as a customer, and look forwards to working closely with them over the coming years.

Being selected by Pegasus Aviation is very important to TES as it demonstrates our commitment to bringing cost effective engine asset management services to this sector of the market, particularly when it is considered alongside the contract we recently signed with GATX Capital, and our excellent ongoing relationship with Tombo Aviation.

This contract increases the number of engines under TES’ management to over 800, and moves us a step closer to our stated long-term target of having 2000 engines under our management...”
